Co-op Whalley
Jameson Consulting were contracted by CBES for the refurbishment of a Grade II listed building on behalf of the Co-op.
The building, which dated back to the 1780s, required extensive work to make it fit for purpose before the fit out could begin, including structural alterations and propping, lowering the floor, the partial replacement of the roof and full upgrades of the M&E facilities.
The works also comprised a small extension to the rear of the building.
A complicated scheme which required a great deal of design input to reach a solution which fitted the client’s needs and respected the historical nature of the building.
